Recently, the second National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Yantai City, Shandong Province. This is the largest, highest-level, and most comprehensive national postdoctoral event held since the implementation of the postdoctoral system.
The project “Automated Solution for Polishing Complex Metal Surfaces” was shortlisted for the finals of the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, receiving widespread attention from experts and judges.
The project addresses the challenge of polishing complex metal surfaces, proposing a green automated metal surface treatment solution. The traditional polishing technologies, with their lengthy processes, severe pollution, and high defect rates, no longer meet the industry’s increasing demands for capacity and performance. It urgently requires industrial upgrading. This solution can achieve efficient, high-quality, and low-consumption batch processing of complex surface parts, not only improving the quality and consistency of products but also reducing labor costs and environmental pollution, demonstrating tremendous application potential.
